So Keri and I received a fantastic present for Christmas: two Mogwais! We were initially thrilled. They came safely wrapped in a box of styrofoam peanuts, complete with sticky candy canes.  We named them Sizmo and Bizmo.

But then we broke the rules. We exposed them to bright lights. We got them wet. We fed them (apparently macaroni and cheese) after midnight. We all know what happens next (unless you were in a coma in the 80’s, in which case I’ll need to SCHOOL you on cultural literacy).

Yep, they turned into Gremlins. They STOMPED those peanuts into a fine dust that is quite literally lighter than air. It floats and has an odd static cling-like quality to it. It actually STICKS to the walls. Greg had to clean the house with the Shopvac. I think I’ll do that more often at evening clean up. Just pull out the Shopvac and start sucking up the random toys lying ALL OVER my house.
