It’s after midnight and officially Christmas Eve. If you are not up rendering bacon, you are not trying hard enough. I just finished my 17th strip. Jesus KNOWS I love him.
Through the power of Avery hand-me-downs (and Grandma Sally’s incessant need to dress all the girls in matching outfits…as if she’s DONE ALL THIS before), we can view an exact outfit “one year ago” comparison of Sara.  Loving the current mojo she’s got goin’ on with the chocolate milk river going down her shirt while holding chocolate candy in her hand. Thank God for stain sticks.

So I wasn’t up rendering bacon last night…but I did make a ton of brownies after I put Katie to bed and this morning I got up at 7am and cooked 2 pounds of sausage, so I feel like I’m doing okay:)

I didn’t do the bacon thing either, but I was up until 11 baking cookies and now today I am decorating them. I also made about 20 or 30 pounds of chocolate for christmas gifts. So if Sara runs out of chocolate let me know I’m sure I can find something she’ll like
