I never thought I’d be able to write this post. I may not get it out without a fair shedding of tears. But it must be said because it has happened: Sara’s BF Bryce, and his Mom, my dear friend, Keri, have moved. Far, far away from the house around the corner. It is the right move for them. It will open up new and exciting adventures for all of us. But this move marks the end of a current era: our lazy Fridays playing at the mall on the boats and trains, goofing off on the playsets, in the cul-de-sac, at the Children’s Museum.
As of today, things will be different. Life changes and we have to change along with it. It’s not just the Bryce-Noah-Sara trio that is affected. There is also the Keri-Ana Paula-Lori union that formed what feels like 1000 years ago in our little room at school. As the three of us sat with crying infants, not knowing each other, and wondering if anyone else thought parenthood was going to be this hard…who was the first to have the guts to say, “Um, is it supposed to be this exhausting?” I wonder when Ana Paula and I meet for coffee now at the deli, will we just put a reminder card at Keri’s seat? When we spill the world’s problems out on the table, the card will remind us of Keri’s signature phrase, “We’ll work it out. We’ll make it work.”
You who read my blog know that I am an expert at keeping in touch with friends near and far. But as Keri carried sleepy Bryce out of my house Tuesday night, I couldn’t help but linger as I kissed his little blonde head one last time. He looked at me with his shiny blue eyes, and whispered, “Good Night Lorlie”. Good night sweetheart. We’ll see you soon. Be berry berry good to your Mommy. And as I say every time, “We see you soon baby blue eyes…thanks for coming to play with us. I miss you already.”

Seriously, Lori…I am crying my heart out here at work now.
I already miss them so much too. It is not even funny!
No one will ever separate us, though, ever!!!
I guess we will just have to go see them at their new home!!!
Love you guys…
Ana Paula
OK, I’ve been reading the website, keeping track of my first 3 babies and the new additions on a Friday night basis. Now, I see one is leaving. If Bryce and Noah and Oliver have a site like this, I’d love to have the address to keep in touch and watch them grow. Hope all is well with everyone and the month of “krud is gone. Hope to hear from you soon with more information at the e-mail.
You guys are all great parents!
Ellen

Please check it out and leave us a note!
We miss you a lot!!!
What to say at the end of an era?1 Other than let’s start a new one! We miss you guys so much. Maybe instead of the house around the corner it now can be the house well down the street. 🙂 You guys are the best and thing must change no matter how much I fight them to stay the same. We will just have to pull out the bubble machine in a new location this spring. What a wild ride this has been so far – I don’t know about you guys, but I am going to hang on for the new twist and turns. We miss you guys already!
