I know, I know…this too shall pass. But may I ask, um, when? I knew the whole surgery thing with Sara went too well. I had dental surgery (not something I will sign up for again). Two days later, Kelly had a horrible reaction to her 6 month shots. The eye-dripping, snot-induced days that followed gave us both a 10 day cold. And then Sara and I got an intestinal bug, just as a side dish. And because this winter is starting to feel a little on the painful side, Sara has croup. Up all night, icky calling the doctor at 3:30 am croup. Thank God we got new bathroom rugs; they are so soft. At 4 am we were drawing pictures in the pile of our new rugs while the shower mist rained down upon us like a warm rain.

I’m sure I had a job at some point. I can’t quite remember where my office is located, or the phone number. I was there for many years, and now? Now, I seem to be imprisoned on the second floor of my house. Which I would have fumigated if I could. That DAMNED GROUNDHOG has it in for me too! 6 more weeks of winter! Invest in Puffs with Vicks and Robitussin. Our family is making it a banner year for the cough and cold companies!
