What does she hear?

Tonight after I got Kelly’s diaper off for her bath, she pee’d everywhere (pretty standard stuff). Immediately she turns into a wigglebottoms, so I say,

M: Kelly, stay still, I have to get this pee-pee shirt off of you.

To which the ever-observant Sara asks, very concerned, and stuttered, as if she’s afraid to hear the answer,

S: Mommy, why you pee on Keway?

I couldn’t stop laughing long enough to tell Sara that I did not, in fact, pee on Kelly. Sara, growing ever more concerned at this new bedtime ritual, took off down the hall where she undressed herself for her bath. She even put her diaper in the genie by herself. Anything, I guess, to avoid being pee’d upon.  Just when she thought nothing was worse than the Alone Space. Can’t you just see me tomorrow when Sara won’t eat her lunch?

M: Eat that sandwich, or I’m going to pee on you! Don’t make me pee on you. I’m serious young lady, ONE…

  1. Lori – I have not laughed that hard in days! 🙂 What wonderful girls you have!
Sara – I am going to have to teach you my phone number so if you Momma makes you too nervous you can call me! 🙂
