Oh blessed heaven’s, the sun came out today and shined down 62 degrees of warmth all afternoon. Praise the Lord! The cold and winds have been so severe this winter that Sara’s slide actually vortex’ed. But the playhouse was in fine order today as the girls swang, and swang, and then swang some more.
We put Kelly in the wagon for a quick spin, and tried to adjust the opposing seat to hold her beach ball. The front half of the wagon flew up and then down HARD. Kelly was strapped in at the waist, and her entire torso flew forward. She was poised perfectly to smack her entire face into the opposing seat that was lifted up like a table. I can only imagine how hard her tiny face would have hit that seat. But she didn’t. There must have been one molecule of air between her and that seat, but she sat upright, and just kind of looked at us, like, “what the heck just happened?!”. There is just NO WAY that happened out of luck. I know full well in my heart that my Grandma, who danced her way into heaven exactly 2 years and 1 day ago, put her hand in the way and caught Kelly. I can hear her now, “Whoah KID. THAT WAS CLOSE!”
I know what’d she would say next, and no I don’t have peaches and cottage cheese on the grocery list. GROSS. Yep Grandma, that combo is still gross. However, I did serve cornbread and butter with dinner! I know, we’d all starve without a little bread on the table! Oh yes, and I’m still sassy…

Greg and Lori,
Wow how fun your website is! A work of art to be sure and good entertainment for me too as I sit at home post surgery. I wolfed down my delicious dinner you sent over. Kiss those babies for me. Hope to see you soon.
