I think most wives in America would agree that they would prefer “quality” cleaning over “quantity” cleaning. Life’s demands don’t always make that possible, but if we could choose, we’d choose to do it RIGHT.
I think most husbands in America would respectfully…um, disagree.
Tonight as I sang the toy clean up song, Sara said, “Watch THIS Mommy!”, as she pulled her toy kitchen sink out of its inset and proceeded to dump all of her kitchen toys into what constitutes her dishwasher. She went so far as to take the toast out of the toaster, and then throw the toaster in as well. She placed the sink gingerly back into place and said,
“ALL DONE!”
I had to call for Greg so he could beam with pride at his daughter’s work. He fell to his knees and said, “Oh Sara! I love you! Can you come and give me a big hug?”
Daddy: Can you say “efficiency” Sara?
Sara (loud and clear): DEFICIENCY!
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA…. I KNEW she was on my team.
