Greg and I may not be lucky at Wal-Mart lines (THE HOURS we’ve spent in Wal-Mart check out lanes…unreal), but we are lucky at WEATHER. I have proof: we lived in Cocoa Beach through the 2004 Hurricane season. Homes all around ours lost porches and roofs and were completely flooded. We barely had time to get the boards down before they went right back up. But our home sustained zero damage. Click on photos for captions.
We are now sitting just north of the Indiana flood line (as it stands right now…it’s supposed to start raining again within the hour). I told Greg I didn’t want to live in California because of the earthquakes. Ha Ha. We’ve had one of those too. If a Tsunami hits Indiana, you can blame us. We’ll be the house that floated and then rested back on it’s foundation.
How is everyone doing? Are my fellow Midwesterners doing OK?

I have been wondering how you are making out. Glad to hear that you are all safe and sound.
Here in Connecticut….it is very hot. Thank goodness for a/c. Too bad they don’t have a/c in Reilly and Connor’s school. R and C are melting.
