I don’t know about you guys, but we have kids’ style instruments all over the place: drums, cymbals, xylophones, etc. I keep a folder in the kitchen with the verses to songs [ (a) because I’ve had 2 children so my memory is shot (b) it’s easier to just pull it out and have 20 songs at my fingertips, otherwise I’ll end up singing 20 verses of Itsy Bitsy Spider]. I pull out the songs and we sit in a circle with all of our instruments and sing through a few songs. I call it “Music Class”.
