The Farmer’s Market

Our newest favorite piece of our “schedule” (which will only last as long as the short Indiana sun keeps shining) is to visit the Indianapolis Farmer’s Market every Wednesday morning.  We seem to be downtown so much these days that I now call it “my suburb”.  Indy is just all around a fantastic place to live.  Today we bought peaches (DELISH and I don’t EVEN EAT peaches, but these were SO good), blueberries (a super food, don’t ya’ know?), and Amish egg noodles.  Which is stupid because I make noodles, but like when?  In my free time?  The noodles will go into a Chicken and Noodles over mashed potatoes with green beans.  The Farmer’s Market takes place on a street bordering our indoor City Market, where I went today with a COOL CHIC WHO IS ABOUT TO BECOME A MOMMA HERSELF!, Ms. Amie R.; we priced the meat at the Meat Market.  If it’s within reason to the big “W”, I may switch out where I’m buying beef and pork.  Sorry W, your produce and meat just SUCK.  Unless you have no teeth and like to eat MOOSH.  The big treat?  The girls are thrilled to shop in the wagon.  They ride along, playing with the reusable shopping bags, having a ball.
