Another Baking Season Begins

Fine, I could NOT wait.  I’m not a waiter.  I’m a jumper-inner.  Saturday I bought a pumpkin-shaped cookie cutter and two kids aprons.  And the chances that I’ll EVER find Vera Bradley aprons again on clearance for FOUR DOLLARS!!! is absolutely zero.  So you know what that means: cookie making time.

Avery and her posse (her parents) came over Saturday night for some serious pizza, play and cookie making.  I only had yellow food coloring, so we had to settle for yellow pumpkins with sprinkles.  As always, Sara was so tickled to have an Avery night, she has yet to settle down from the excitement.

Come on apple harvest!  Next stop: Pie City!

  2. I so identify with your love of fall! Alexa and I made a trip to Target yesterday and I almost bought her a pumpkin and black kitty cat shirt. Then I thought, that’s crazy, it’s not even September yet. Since you broke the fall seal by making cookies, I just might go back and get it! The cookie making sounds fun and yummy!
