From the end of April to the end of September, our family and friends celebrate almost every birthday you can imagine.  We have so many birthdays that I call the summer “Birthday Season”.  It ends with a big Grandaddy, Pa Pa Bump, Noah, Avery blowout, all in one week.

Only a special few of us have birthdays outside of birthday season.  Mine occurs in the dead of winter and usually during a blizzard.  Party on Wayne.  On the other hand, Aunt Amanda’s occurs in October.  This month.  Very soon.  She’s turning something…WHAT IS IT?  WHAT IS THAT BIRTHDAY THAT IS ABOUT TO OCCUR???  Is Aunt Amanda going to be 21?  IS THAT POSSIBLE?  If the girls are in high school, and they come to your house to stay up all night helping you hand bead wedding favors, and MAYBE you make them a VERY WEAK margarita…I am still OK with that Aunt Amanda.
