Family Sweaters…I mean Ties

My sister and I have had an uncanny resemblance since birth.  Oddly, while we look alike, our daughters look nothing like us, yet somehow, they look like each other.  You can see the man on the far left, my grandfather, from whom I inherited my good looks (his quote, not mine).  And humility.  HA!  Kelly is named for him and I hope she has his wit.

But I digress.  Jenny LIKES SWEATERS.  LARGE, DARK TURTLENECK SWEATERS.  This is a rare picture of Jenny NOT wearing a turtleneck sweater, which is perplexing because it was easily 65 degrees that evening.  She generally wears a turtleneck sweater for all weather 95 degrees and under.

This afternoon I tried on a dark brown turtleneck sweater at my favorite consignment store, and I turned to Sara (deeply engrossed in putting an alphabet puzzle together in an order all her own…C,F,Z,G…you get the idea) and asked, “I’m not sure about this sweater.  What do you think?”  Looking up rather non-chalantly, Sara replied:

What do I tink?  I tink you wook wike Aunt Jenny.

Jenny, I think Sara has your style figured out girl.  Time to mix it up!  This fall, maybe throw in a V-Neck!

  1. Did Jenny tell you about the Christmas Mark and I bought her a cream turtleneck sweater and Jason a blue sweater vest? We arrived at their house presents all wrapped up and what were they wearing??? Yep, a cream turtleneck sweater and blue sweater vest! I love them. 🙂

  2. I am going home tomorrow!!!!!
I leave at 6:20AM Spain time (12:20AM Indy time)!!!
I am like, counting the minutes! Not even working anymore! And the best part is…I still have the closing meeting this afternoon, where we deliver the “not so good” news about the audit.
    See you this weekend!!!
