Happy Fall Y’All

Are you sick of me yet?  And I’ll just keep posting sentiments about the fall until the snow comes.  Which in Indiana, could be tomorrow.  Or January.  We just never know.  We do know that when the snow arrives, it will continue to arrive until we’re all the color of paste and have caught the flu…twice.  When the last Hooser gets over his 2nd flu, spring comes.  Everyone knows this.

I took these pictures a quarter of a mile from my house.  Another thing I love about Indiana…THIS is living in the city. I live minutes from a skyline and seconds from farmland.

I actually dislike the corn harvest.  The scalped cornfields mean only one thing: Old Man Winter is coming for a long visit.

  1. So missing the corn fields this fall….
Can they save us just one until the end of the month?!
Hope to see you all soon!

  2. Hey Daddee! We HAVE crops like that on the North side. We have farms and farm animals too!

    Miss you!

  3. A lot of people don’t realize how beautiful Indiana is in the summer, with the tall green fields of corn blowing in the wind or the beautiful colors of the fall. Ind. in the winter isn’t very pretty but the other seasons do make up for the long cold gray that starts in Nov and doesn’t leave until April. Love Grandma
