OK, I can admit it, this was one of those, “What the heck was I thinking?” ideas.  I blew up balloons and we tried Paper Mache.  Oh dear heavens.  30 minutes of play, 30 minutes of bath, and 8 hours of clean up.  THEN, because I can never say die, we painted them.  Do not try this at home.  Paper Mache is for 8 year olds, not 36 year olds, and certainly not for 3 or 1 year olds.
