We’ve made it out of the first big winter freeze! The girls and I ran an errand on Saturday in very balmly 33 degree weather. At one point, we questioned the need for coats. After a straight week of 10 below, 33 is downright tropical.
The look on Sara’s face as I tried to explain the concept of “less than zero”.
Ana Paula emailed some silly pictures of the boys titled, “Got Bored?”….here is my Kelly entry into that portrait contest. Kelly is dancing to Hawaiian music with her tiara on backwards. Precious.
The greatest blessing of the freeze: Kelly started painting!
Give the girls 2 unsupervised minutes, and the bored is unleashed! I made them sit on opposite beds while I folded their entire wardrobes. I don’t think they’ll pull this trick again.
After cooking every crumb of food in the house, we finally suited up and went out for some fancy Chick-Fil-A.
By Saturday night, I had showered, put on something other than yoga pants, and even had on MAKEUP. It’s official, Cabin Fever is over. Thank the Lord!

I love the easel! I might need to copy that for one of the birthdays! Do you happen to know where Santa got that?
I knew you would like the Got Bored pics!
Love you!
