Egg Decorating didn’t go as well this year as I had envisioned. Maybe it was my mood. Maybe I deluded myself into thinking we’d actually make pretty eggs. While the process was messy and required me to have 17 hands, the girls are in love with their eggs. They jump up on stools several times a day to check on them. They ask visitors to pick a favorite. Hence, making the stains on my island worth the grief.
We wish everyone a very Happy Easter. The probiotics seem to be helping the girls, and they have each digested a small piece of cookie and a piece of cornbread. It is possible they’ll be able to eat a piece of chocolate tomorrow. I know, that’s just CRAZY talk! They may not notice the candy (ha ha ha, just joking) when they see the ironing board and iron the Easter Bunny is bringing. Don’t look at me! Sara asked the Easter Bunny at the Mall to fit it into her basket. She marched right up to him, waved away his lap, and looked him right into those scary eyes (I find mall Easter Bunnies to be insanely creepy), and said, “I’d like an ironing board, iron and some chocolate PREEAASE (please).” I guess she has some spring cleaning to do.

Sara you are more than welcome to come to our house and iron anytime!! Bob would love your help….we can him Iron Man. 🙂
So glad to hear the probiotics are helping. I don’t know if you feel the same way, but it seems so cruel when our children have digestive problems despite our best efforts to feed them whole, organic, non-processed food. I could just as easily give Alexa french fries and high fructose corn syrup laden juice and have her puking all over the place.
BTW, your sharing of tough times is such an inspiration to me. I always want to crawl in a cave and hide from the world when the going gets tough. I admire your ability to reach out with a good balance of humility and humor.
Happy Easter!!! We are so happy that you guys are feeling better. Mister Bryce likes the yellow egg. I think my favorite is the purple one. Hope the Easter Bunny was good to all of you!
