Greg took some tarps and turned them into a makeshift Slip & Slide for the girls. It wasn’t lightening fast (probably a good thing), so he had to give them a push to get them started. It was a bit like bowling with children instead of bowling balls. And instead of knocking down pins, they girls knocked me down as I attempted to use the camera in motion-mode for a change (my very techie term, but I’m sure all the good photographers will be using it soon).
He called it the Poor Man’s Slip & Slide, which is interesting, because I thought only poor men HAD Slip & Slides. When you are imitating the poor man’s toy…what the hell is that? Next we’ll be eating Slinky’s for dinner…..oh Eddie Murphy…you make me laugh.
It was all fun and games until….well, until it wasn’t. Don’t worry, Kelly was completely unharmed in the making of this photo. Wet and pretty peeved at Greg for a moment, but unharmed. Daddy’s come up with the best toys. What will he invent next?!
