I know my friends think I’m a dork with my “play centers” and our bird journal, but seriously, should the girls ever find themselves on Jeopardy, they’ll KNOW the difference between a finch and a wren. That’s $200 Alex! Cheddar comin’!

It would be a female yellow finch. Although it could be male, they lose their bright yellow color in the fall and winter. Just thought I would let you know you are right. (As always) 🙂
No way! I totally google’d that and couldn’t be certain. But, seriously, isn’t there just something about a finch that is so “finchy”? A wren would more likely have it’s tail up as well. That’s my usual guessing strategy!
