Melissa and Doug make good toys, albeit on the high end of price.  Their Nina the Ballerina toy is surprisingly cheap and has been played with incessantly by both girls.  It’s a wooden ballerina with magnetic wood clothes.  It’s like paper dolls for toddlers.  We’ve lost to few of the shoes to the tiny toy gods, but for the most part, she has stayed together.  When Kelly outgrows her, I’ll miss ‘ole Nina.
