By posting this picture today, I’m trying to remind myself that Kelly is indeed cute, precious, and downright cuddly.  Because right now, NONE of those statements are actually true.  Kelly has hit some horrid version of the Terrible Twos and they are indeed…TERRIBLE.  She could best be described as sassy, disobedient, and just generally irritated.  She is contradictory, temperamental, and bursting with screams and tears.  But in this picture, she is dressed so sweetly as Snow White, giving Baby Maisy a bottle and rocking her to sleep.  THIS is how I’d like to remember January 2010.  NOT the memory of her screaming, “NO!  NO! I NOT GOING TO DO IT! I DO IT!  I DO IT MYSELF!  GO ‘WAY!  GET OUT MA’ BED!  GIB DAT BACK TO ME RAGHT NOW!”  I’m completely OK with remembering a fabricated version of the truth.  Now if you’ll excuse me, I have someone sitting in the “Alone Space”, needing a little lecture on why we don’t throw tea sets down a flight of stairs….
