Before you mulch and plant and do all the crazy things you intend to do to your yard this summer, let your kids dig up your beds.  Why not?  You’re going to re-mulch it all anyway.  It’s warm, the sun is out, and the kids are dying to play in the dirt.  Sara is wearing her trusty Barbie gardening tool belt, and she got that pink outfit absolutely covered in dirt.  We went out to ride bikes, but that plan got sidelined a bit.  And you know what?  It all washed out, every last speck.  It’s just dirt.
