I just realized that Easter is right around the corner. Yikes! I have just a “few” projects for Easter I’d like to accomplish…would be happy to get even half of them done. So I think I’ll do a few “postcards” over the next couple of weeks, as I did during the Holiday Season. If you have spring pictures to share, please link us to them in the comments.
I’ll start by saying I’m a sucker for tiny snow globes. Trinket junk, I know, but the tinier the detailing, the more I love it. This snow globe is my latest contribution to the girls’ collection of “treasures” and is about 3 inches high. It’s covered in glitter…bonus! I hide it every morning and the girls have 4 minutes to find it before we have to pile into the car and start our day. Why 4 minutes you ask? Why not 5? Because who the hell has 5 extra minutes in the morning?! Just kidding…my Mom always announced leave times as odd amounts when I was a child: “We’re leaving in 7 minutes, so your shoes had better be tied in 6 minutes!” It was strange how she never left on the 5 or the 10, but you know what? It got our attention!
Glittery, sparkly and warm Indiana Springtime…I luv ya’!
