You know spring has arrived when the green leprechaun with grass growing out his head shows up in your kitchen windowsill.  What did you say?  You’ve never heard of the grass-head-drink-cup leprechaun?  Such a fine tradition, but I don’t why those Pre-Kindergarten kids couldn’t have chosen something slightly more useful, like, “The Fresh Basil-Mullet Leprechaun”, or maybe, “Leprechaun with the Curly Parsley Afro”.
