Pardon me if I am a bit absent this spring.  A) My house is spotless, so you know I’m avoiding a very large sewing project.  B) These girls are BUSY lately.  Kelly has decided she is done with diapers, announcing on Saturday as she handed me her diaper and ran to the bathroom, “Let’s DO THIS THING!” And by “thing” she must have meant “laundry…lots and lots of laundry”.  Still, for Week #1 she is doing an amazing job at the whole “wear the panties” gig.  Sara is OFF dairy.  OFF, I say.  Long story.  If it works, I can share the 8 month struggle we’ve had to understand some of Sara’s health issues.  I can’t talk about it now, because I don’t know if it’s working, and I don’t want to blog-jinx myself (I just made that word up…pretty cool, yes?).  But if you feel like praying for a milk allergy for her, I’d be most grateful.  Believe me, that answer would be the best of scenarios.

Oddly, and without jumping onto one of my many food soap boxes, these girls off of sugar and now dairy are JUST ON FIRE.  Not in a bad way.  Not at all in a misbehaving way.  In a hilarious, non-stop game playing, giggling & laughing, totally enjoyable kind of way.  For such a busy spring, full of pee pee accidents, I’d have to say the mood around the ranch is quite pleasant.  But please excuse me, because I have a china cabinet to dust.  Oops, I mean, sewing project to start.
