With the amazing selection of kid dress up clothes these days, do we even remember the days when we had to borrow our parents’ clothes to play dress up?  The neighbor girls and my sister and I used to put on my Mom’s old formals and play “Love Boat”.  Her walk-in closet was the bar where we ordered our Shirley Temples…on the rocks of course.  I think Sara and Kelly traded my gray sweatshirt shrug back and forth for an hour.  It was very good for dancing.  And don’t get me started on my shoes.  I find my old stilettos all over the house.  Oh well, at least someone is using them.
