I must admit, my least favorite part of my “Do It Yourself” parties is the 7 day countdown. At 7 months, I generate themes and wild ideas. At 7 weeks, I start buying all sorts of pieces and parts. At 7 days, those pieces and parts are unwrapped, buried in first draft piles, scattered about, definitely NOT ASSEMBLED, and taking up most of the house. I’m half way done with too many projects to possibly count. I have lists. I have a half stuffed pinata somewhere around here. I have enough triangles to make 100 feet of butterfly themed pennant banners. I have a china cabinet unpacked, and taking up most of my sewing room. The floors? They’re in! The stairs? Not started! The lights? In boxes, but here! The curtains? Got a few people laughing at my insistence I’ll have them made by Saturday.
Just chant it with me folks: it will come together, it will come together, it will come together. Ducky Luau, Candyland, Max & Ruby Tea Party, Greg’s 30th Birthday Roast, Monkey Rainforest, and NOW, The Butterfly Party! IT WILL COME TOGETHER, Oh Good Lord, don’t leave me now!

So, when is the party? I will be back in town on Saturday night, and will be off next Friday, if you need any help!!!!
The party is Saturday afternoon. Just rest my friend! You’ve had a long 6 weeks!
