{this moment}

Moments, right now, feel a little stressful.  There is a lot of catching up to do.  There is a lot of regular “stuff” to do.  There is just…much ado, about all sorts of things.  Good, less than good, in progress, slow going, full speed ahead…family life in its full grandeur, probably nothing more or less remarkable than any other family’s daily story.

So tonight, I just want to freeze this photo in my head (huge thanks to Allie L. for catching this priceless shot).  And no matter how long the weeks may feel, moments like this one remind me they are actually going too quickly. (Followed by a quiet Momma whisper…stay little girls…please stay little).

  1. I feel the same way about my boys. They’re growing up so fast that I can’t catch my own breath sometimes.

    I hope today turns out well for you and may you find more moments of gratitude throughout the day. That picture of your daughters is a frozen moment of beauty and gladness, something to remind you always that you are blessed.

    Hugs!

  2. This photo is one of those “Kodak” moments as my grandmother used to say. Live for each one. Don’t get caught up in all the worldly things, dishes will always be there, dusting, sweeping etc…but they only stay kids for so long. And I speak from experience, I think everyday where did the time go with my kids and now here I am a great grandma. So now I spend all the time I can with my great granddaughter and gain further more Kodak moments. Enjoy lots and lots more moments!!!

  3. That’s adorable – sisterly love at it’s finest! The whole family looked beautiful at the wedding. Good luck as you blend back into daily life.
