The snow left, and the beautiful fall weather has returned briefly to Indiana. But, with it, has come an odd bronchitis/pneumonia illness that has taken down several Mothers at the girls’ school. Lucky me, as I’m also in the “death on a stick” club. In a comparison of the prescriptions we’ve tried, it’s apparent nothing is working, which leaves only one treatment left: I’ll take 30 pills of “toughing it out” please. The side effects are sleeplessness, coughing up of the lungs, and an addiction to tea and honey.
My mother and my in-laws have arrived, assuring that life keeps moving. Funny thing about having kids…come hell or high water, you just have to keep moving. They wait for no man, nor bronchial malady.
I shall be back soon, healthier, not so worse for the wear, and really, really knee deep in laundry.
