This year I will spare you the visual overload of the entire mantel.  I add one thing every year, and after reviewing the past few years of pictures, I think we’ve found our breaking point.  Or, more accurately, the mantel’s breaking point.  One more thing, and it’s coming down baby.  For 2010, I added an old metal sign that reads “Harvest Moon Brand Soups”.  Who doesn’t love a good soup?  This week I’m making Ham & Pea Soup, which calls for green onions and fresh tarragon…SO refreshingly yummy and warm.  I won’t take this mess down until the holidays.  Add a few turkeys to the mix, and the witches get to stay through up Thanksgiving…that’s the deal.
