Last year I did a series of postcards (inspired by a similar series on Soulemama), which started as a convenient way to blog during the busy Christmas season, and it turned into something I truly enjoyed.
So, this year, I’m resurrecting the Christmas postcards, as we countdown to Jesus’ birthday. Try convincing a 3 year old why she gets to open presents on Jesus’ birthday, but no one else’s. She’ll flat out tell you that math makes no sense whatsoever.
Today we celebrated Christmas with my Mother and Stepfather and extended family. Sara and her American Doll, Felicity, received matching nightgowns. Oh Holy Night is right. She put Felicity to bed and asked me to stay quiet and keep the lights off. She tiptoed into her room several times to kiss her cheek and make sure she was sleeping peacefully. Wonder where she learned to do that?! I want to roll my eyes and declare these girls have it all, but she and Felicity look so very pretty in their white Colonial nightgowns. I just can’t complain!

Cheers to possibility! Kudos on the big step to re-imagine your life. I just can’t wait to see what happens next….and read about it. You’ve got so many gifts girl. Your options are endless.
Adorable!
Love, love, love all the American Girl presents and stories. I get to enjoy girl stuff through your girls! Thank you!
She looks so cute in her night gown, so does Felicity.
