I’ve had my eye on this lollipop tambourine at Mass Ave Toys since Kelly’s first birthday, and Saturday night, Kelly traded in her Reward Chain for it. We wanted to do a movie or some kind of event, but we all have a case of the February blahs, so the girls decided they’d like to take their completed chains and go to dinner and the toy store. Much to my delightful surprise, Kelly wanted the tambourine (Sara chose tiny winged fairies…BIG surprise). She has announced many events this weekend, banging away with her little rubber rainbow mallet. It’s surprisingly not an irritating sound, albeit loud. Just when I thought they’d grown too old for this little piece of toy eye candy (nope, you can’t actually lick it, although Kelly has tried), I was reminded that my baby is really only 3. Yeah! I got a…oops…I mean Kelly got a new toy!
