Stefanie Gets New Shoes!

In honor of this fashion-forward event, Sara dressed for a celebration.  Um…I wish I could explain this Get Up, but I can only insert that she is studying “World Cultures” this month, and the weekly change of Country has got her quite confused.  I nearly wrecked the minivan trying to snap a picture of her dancing in her seat to Usher while wearing a sombrero.  Some things must be captured on film to be believed.

Our winner is Lucky #31: Stefanie!  She needs to wear these to her own outdoor wedding reception, which is a perfect use for Cinderollies.  Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials Stefanie, and congratulations on winning some very useful ballet flats.  As someone who has been happily married for 7 years, I can truly say: I loved my wedding, I love being married, and I love my husband.  Marriage is such a blessing, and I wish for you all the happiness we’ve had.

And of course a huge thanks to Chris over at Cinderollies for providing these awesome shoes for our giveaway.  He is also about to say “I Do”, and as the man who created the perfect answer to women and their much-loved shoes, I can’t help but think he’s going to make a great husband!

*Winner selected by using a Random Number Generator, which first gave me Comment #21, which is a comment left by the man who created and donated the shoes.  As it made no sense to ship them back to him, I ran the generator a second time and got Comment #31, from Stefanie.  As someone who worked in Biostats, I like random number generators, as I have absolutely no control over any part of the selection process.*

  1. You must shop at osh kosh. Your girls have a lot of the same outfits my daughter has. She’s six and she’s not afraid of mixing striped pieces either, regardless of colors. I never realized it was possible to wear 10+ colors at a time. Maybe I’m weak, but sometimes I think you have to pick your battles.

  2. Seriously! With daughters, we must pick which hills are worth dying upon. Striped dresses with flower leggins with neon knee socks and sombrero? Oh hell, it was late Friday afternoon. WHO CARES?!

  3. on saint patrick’s day I let her wear green pants that were two small, were visibly dirty and had two small holes in them. She had her heart set on it. After she got home, they promptly went in the trash. I wonder what her teachers think of me? I will say on most days she has a pretty cute, clean and non-holey outfit on. Hopefully that counts for something. Ha!!
