While accumulating mountains of piggy banks/”treasures” at the Paint Your Own Pottery locales , I decided I might paint something I could USE. I painted a topiary on a tile to use as a coaster in my sewing room. For the low, low price of $20 and an hour and half of painting and 2 weeks of waiting for the firing…I have a place to set my coffee. Do your kids beg you to to go to these places? I know I begged as a child. No wonder my Mom always balked at the request. Tres expensive!!
