A friend suggested that Kelly might be willing to learn her letters in a medium, say, shaving cream for instance.  I filled up a casserole dish, and she happily practiced a few letters with her fingers.  Just a few…Kelly wouldn’t want you to confuse her congenial nature with a work ethic.  However, she does have a strong PLAY ethic, and she was happy with this dish of shaving cream for almost an hour.  The clean up wasn’t horrible either! (For those of you worried that I think a 3 year old should have a work ethic, I’ll just insert that by her age, I was mopping floors and hauling wood.  I’m a believer in children working around the house.)
