By 3 pm, October 30th, the Rainbow Fairy Costumes were finished. I still had to run out for tights, do a fitting, and attach the sashes as a last minute adjustment, but I think we can all agree the fact that I wasn’t up until 2 am at my machine is a call for a celebration. There won’t be one tonight…only 1 picture for now (I will do a rough draft tutorial this week). I have bronchitis, a very sore throat, and a new understanding as to why this phrase is mentioned in eulogies: “she made my Halloween Costume every year”. Not Christmas dress. Not Easter dress. HALLOWEEN COSTUME. Or costumes, as I make 2 of everything. Creating imaginary characters from scratch is not for the weak of heart. Or throat and lungs, as I bid you a very Happy (and hopefully healthy) Halloween.
