International Girls Of Mystery

They came out of the playroom wearing skirts Grandmommy brought back from Turkey, Princess heels, a top their Great Aunt carried home from China, a red cape I made almost 4 years ago, a hat from Texas, and a basket from a garage sale.  For obvious reasons, I never noticed they were carrying matching wooden spoons and a map, drawn by cartographer Sara.  As I reached the top of the stairs too stunned to speak, Sara yelled, “We’re Detectives!  We’re lost!  We’re using this map to find CLUES and our way home!”  And then THEY SHOT ME WITH THEIR SPOONS.  Well I’ll be a rootin-tootin Istanbulin’ dead princess named Red Riding Hood Mulan.  I never saw that coming. It’s the element of surprise that keeps me on my toes ’round the ranch these days. Be careful.  I think that bear Kelly is carrying is loaded.  To CUDDLE.

  1. The girls costumes are funny enough. Your commentary on them makes them hilarious. You crack me up. Thanks!

  2. Having an incredible imagination such as theirs is TRULY a gift! The future looks promising for these two. Love being able to peek into their beautiful life (created by you & Greg).
