{this princess}

Because wearing the worn out cheerleading costume to Princess Power Camp wasn’t rebel enough, Kelly next wore a laurel of golden grape leaves, paired with sunglasses I can only assume she borrowed from a member of Digital Underground.  Surrounded by a sea of Sleeping Beauties and Cinderellas, Kelly showed up as L.L. Cool Aphrodite.  On the last day of camp, we walked into the classroom to see her teacher and good friend dressed to the nines, and I looked at Kelly and asked, “Um Kelly?  Was today the day everyone was supposed to wear a dress?”  My Rapping Greek Goddess, dressed in 3 year old sweats and hair looking like she partied at an all-night rave, just gave me her closed lip giggle, a quick hug, flipped her hair, and walked off.

Advantage: Kel-Belle; you’ll never meet a Princess more comfortable in her own skin.  And oddball wardrobe choices.

  1. Haha! Jenny, I feel more like she is thinking, “I’ll just sit here in the grandstand, (with my awesome sunglasses, because Sparta is very sunny) and watch the Spartans defeat each other while I sip my MangoPeachBerry Smoothie.” This girl is a piece of work.
