We Made It

Yeah, she made it.  The mobiles came together and made it up to the ceiling (where I could not bat at a single one, thank you very much).  There were kids EVERYWHERE, and from a cat’s perspective I can only tell you that children are the worst kind of humans.  Do you need proof?  ARE YOU BLIND?  Like I covered myself in ribbons, sun catchers, and flower girl what nots on my own. I look like a damned tart.  Add red lipstick and I may as well be working the alleys (where did you think “alley cat” came from?).

We’re exhausted.  That much fun and food and pompy circumstance calls for rest.  The lady with the hot glue gun has pictures (and a glass of wine in her hand…she’s a total lush, but don’t tell her I said so.  I’ve got treats on the line people).  She’ll share the stories tomorrow…but first, I’ve got some revenge scenarios to plot.  CYRUS!!!

  1. Cannot WAIT to hear the stories. Glad the lady with the glue gun is having wine. I know for a fact she outdid herself on this one. Like I said, if I could only be Lori’s child for JUST ONE DAY!

  2. You are too kind Rachel! Right now I’m the Momma who wouldn’t let them stay up late and take a bath in their robes. It’s hard work being my kid.

  3. Oh, Rachel, I so agree! I say that all the time – I wish Lori would adopt me.

Lor, I am so happy it all came together (NOT that I ever doubted for a moment that it would, let me make that clear!) Sorry we couldn’t be there! xoxo
