Rainbow Lorikeets bite. I fear Sara failed to mention this fact in her report. Maybe I should clarify: Rainbow Lorikeets at the Indy Zoo bite. I have never been bitten by a Rainbow Lorikeet at the Cincinnati Zoo, which I can assure you is a much better Habitat. I would write (yet another) letter to the Indy Zoo but (1) I’m so glad they are bringing back the Butterflies that I don’t want to jinx myself, and (2) They are so busy building the Orangutan Exhibit that I don’t they give a hoo about their biting birds. Thank God for Oceans, which keeps me coming back time and time again.
