Dad.

Maybe you’re wondering when and how I learned to become the world’s biggest cheerleader of rarefied causes.  Where did I learn to see the unlikely and shoot for the improbable?  How do I believe in outcomes rarely seen in disorders barely understood?  How does one choose happy over circumstance and laugh while hiking the trail of trials?

I know this guy, and he showed me the way. I call him Dad. He hasn’t given up on me yet, so I figure I’d better keep going…thank you Dad.
