Thanksgiving Postcard, No. 4

I am thankful for our weekends.  We rarely go anywhere.  We rarely do more than piddle about.  And as you can see, we find it wholly unnecessary to get dressed.  For most of this year, we have closed ourselves in, run about the yard, and simply goofed off in each others’ presence.  I cannot possibly imagine a better way to spend a year of weekends.  We’ve soaked up so much togetherness that Greg and Kelly were feeling left out in the glasses department.  Now they have fake glasses so they can pretend they are too lazy to put in their contacts.  Greg has to pretend to be lazy, just to give you an idea how hard I have to work to get him to slow down on the weekends.  He wakes up on fire with a list, but his ladies are quick to remind him: slow down Chief!  We’ve got some nothingness to accomplish!  Grab a pancake and some coffee and tell us, “If you could be any of the Tinkerbell Fairies…who would you be?…Discuss…”  Happy Thanksgiving Week my friends.  I hope you find some space to just be, in your pjs, wearing your comfy glasses, surrounded by this kind of love.
