First off, if you’re not of Irish descent, I want you to know it will not hurt your chances in the adoption process. These little tikes are known as Murphy & Maddie, and they are looking for a forever home. The white one on the left is Murphy (Male), and the grey is Maddie (female). They are the grandkittens of a woman who cared lovingly for Sara when she was in daycare. You know my rule of thumb: pets are better in pairs. Less destruction when playmates are a built-in feature.
To update you on the success of one of our pairs, I had grown comfortable with the idea that Sydney would simply never love Dagny. They would grow to agree to disagree. But then our Vet gave us a little advice: whenever the kitten is near Syd, and Syd starts to hiss, give Syd a treat. She will connect good feelings with the proximity of Dagny. Syd learns fast. It took no time whatsoever to get to here:
So if these 7 week old O’Kittens are choosing you, you can leave a message here and I’ll give you Ellen’s contact info. These kitties are located in a proximity to Western Indiana and Eastern Illinois. They are currently indoor pets, and their Momma would prefer they remain so. Seriously…they are prettier than my 3…I’d take ’em if I were you. I wonder if they have an accent? Because that would be awesome!
