Watching the sun set over the prairie while listening to the Ballad of the War of 1812 might be one of my most favorite July things to do. And as if that weren’t enough…there was pie. Marking the halfway point of summer in high Indiana style…beautiful!…wish you were here.

Beautiful relaxing looking picture. I love sitting in the park and listening to music. Here in LaPorte every Wed and Thur night during the summer we have Arts in the Park at the Amphitheater featuring our local city band on Wed and then different groups, bands, musicians, poets etc on Thur. Such a wonderful thing to do with your family.
