Title: Constellation Plate
Kelly took a week of Pottery Camp this summer, and it was awful. DREADFUL. I’m the worst Mother in the world for making her go to 2.5 hours per day of tortuous Pottery Camp. Which is to say, Kelly felt about Pottery Camp as Kelly feels about all camps: they are NOT Camp Mommy. And why would we leave Camp Mommy to go to a NOT Camp Mommy? It lacks logic and stinks of poor planning.
Title: The Turtle Vase
When her large box of finished pieces were delivered, suddenly, Pottery Camp was the artistic endeavor of her life. She gently unwrapped each masterpiece, retelling the tales of her creative genius. I thought the Constellation Plate was pretty cool, and I recognized her turtle without a prompt. Title: Everyone Poops In The Pott(er)y Class.
THIS was her favorite. It’s a candle holder, which means she fully expects me to place it dead center on our dinner table. And I’m a Mom…which means I HAVE TO…it’s THE LAW. Betcha you don’t have one of these. Don’t go hitting up Yankee Candle for it, because they don’t have it either. If you want a votive holder surrounded by worms or snakes or purple turds, you’ll have to commission Kelly. I can try to get you on her schedule, but it’s tight. She has her daily reading log, Sunshine Math…what have you. Yep, nothing like staring at petrified purple turds every night at dinner, my friends. Bon Appetit!

Words fail me…..stunned. I cannot believe that YOU get to have a candle holder with purple turds. I suppose you will be looking for a purple votive to accent the colors? WOW! Best moment of my day. And, yes, IT IS THE LAW Bwhaaahhhhaaahahahaha! 🙂
Thank you for sharing! That is indeed a pile of pure purple awesomeness. You are one blessed momma. I’m laughing with you because I have so been there.
…you’re right…we all wish we had one too…
~Have a lovely day!
Hilarious! It’s especially wonderful when twenty, or even thirty years from now (the longer the better), you can joyfully pull this out of a box and ask her to take it home with her. Revenge is sweet.
