After moving every piece of everything in the house for the carpet cleaners, my entire body ached. The technicians move things, but let’s face it: the world living under my girls’ beds had to be addressed by moi. I had to find the carpet before they could clean the carpet. By that evening, I was face down on my bed, moaning like an old lady. Sara came in and offered to give me a back massage. How kind! I heard Kelly rustling in the background, and before I knew it, I was being serenaded by a violin!
The entire experience was a bit like being pinched while listening to a cat die, but let’s not split these fine hairs, shall we? My daughters offered me a “spa experience”, and I shall remember it as such.
SO, for our gift card winners (and we have TWO!): I will be mailing you each a $10 Starbucks gift card, and NOT a Spa Day at Chez Sara & Kelly. Amy and Lydia, you were both right. Amy wrote in first to say “puke”, and Lydia wrote in later and more specifically spelled out “cat puke”. Amy wins for speed, and Lydia wins for accuracy. I shall email you both tonight, and thanks to everyone for playing!
The first 3 things that were spilled and/or landed on my beautifully cleaned rugs and carpet WERE: an entire pizza dumped upside down, cat puke, and 10 mL of children’s Advil. Lover-ly. Parenthood is a TRIP you’all.
Don’t forget to get your carpets cleaned by October 18th to get the 25% discount at Zerorez Indianapolis. Tell ’em old pizza-dropper sent you! And not only did that pizza come right out, but they erased whatever was under those beds. Chocolate milk? Dinosaur plasma? It’s hard to say, but it’s GONE. Not a single stain has resurfaced, which for my house? It’s a fiber-based miracle.
